Technologywhat does the prefabrication of our homes look like?
Solid, durable and safe - that's what a real home should be. During the prefabrication of BOX HAUS zero-energy houses, we make sure that each of these conditions is met in the best possible way. We have perfected the process of preparing the individual elements of the structure to make sure that they will be a safe and comfortable place to live for BOX HAUS clients and their families. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the details of the technologies used in the implementation of our projects.
Solid and durablewall construction
The structural wall made with BOX HAUS technology, together with the exterior insulation and facade, is more than 35 cm thick in total. Its base is a frame made of KVH four-sided planed structural timber, which has been chamber-dried to about 15% moisture content.
The drying process carried out in this way contributes to excellent dimensional stability. Thanks to the use of the so-called micro-joining, the beams can have a length of up to 13 meters!
We use the highest qualityKVH structural timber
Our houses are made of a special type of wood, which is characterized by high strength and low thermal conductivity. During its production, each element is controlled for moisture content and quality, so that such wood is resistant to twisting and cracking.
The wood used by BOX HAUS is imported from a reputable German supplier. Each delivery comes with a Certificate of Constancy of Performance - confirmation of the quality of this material and its approval for trading in construction throughout the European Union.
