Technologywhat does the prefabrication of our homes look like?
Solid, durable and safe - that's what a real home should be. During the prefabrication of BOX HAUS zero-energy houses, we make sure that each of these conditions is met in the best possible way. We have perfected the process of preparing the individual elements of the structure to make sure that they will be a safe and comfortable place to live for BOX HAUS clients and their families. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the details of the technologies used in the implementation of our projects.
Prefabricatedceiling construction
The BOX HAUS ceiling is a solid and heavy construction based on 24 cm thick KVH type solid wood along with KNAUF Naturoll Pro mineral wool insulation. BOX HAUS uses exactly the same wood for the ceiling construction as for the wall construction.
From underneath, the structure is covered with a gypsum board ceiling, which not only provides a ready-to-paint finish for the ceiling, but also increases its fire resistance.
As one of the few on the market, BOX HAUS ceilings are topped off with screed. This combination creates a warm and well-soundproofed horizontal partition and allows the use of underfloor heating on the usable floor. The ceiling is prefabricated in the production hall in Katowice and assembled on-site within a single day.
Warmth and comfortunder your roof
BOX HAUS prefabricated houses use three types of roof structures - a standard roof truss, a prefabricated truss structure, and a flat roof structure. In the case of double-pitched and multi-pitched roofs, the roof is covered with a windproof membrane and concrete tiles, while flat roofs are covered with an EPDM membrane.
Each of the above structures is built of certified wood, which ensures durability for many years, while the mineral wool insulation provides adequate thermal insulation.
