Construction process
Experience gained from many completed homes allows us to accurately determine the needs of your family, as well as the area of the house you want and have the ability to build. A team of consultants from BOX HAUS will help you go through the planning process step by step, while experienced designers will match your dream home to your chosen plot of land, collect the necessary documentation and obtain a building permit for the construction of your dream home.
Choosing or creating your own design in cooperation with a BOX HAUS architect
From the very beginning, the choice of a project must be made consciously. We need to imagine the house we want to live in. A single-storey house or one with a usable attic? A house from the BOX HAUS collection or an individual project? It all depends on your lifestyle, the number of household members and their current needs. The more factors you take into account while planning, the more satisfied you will be with the final result!
Preparing the construction project and ordering the necessary materials
After making all the necessary arrangements, our team will create a project for your house and, on the basis of it, order the materials necessary to start production.
The process of adapting the project to the location of the plot of land chosen by the investor
In addition to creating the project of the building, it is also necessary to adapt it to the environment in which it will be located. This is also taken care of by our professionals.
Production of the building components in the BOX HAUS prefabrication hall
At this stage, all the elements of your future home are prefabricated in our German-Swedish machinery hub, where real experts take care of their quality.
Building the foundation plate
It's time to create the foundation, which is the base of the house on which the entire structure will rest. The foundation plates we create are always properly insulated from the ground - this way we avoid the loss of heat. This is an excellent solution for relatively lightweight construction on any terrain - by evenly distributing the load on the ground, we can build even on difficult terrain and at high groundwater levels.
Installation of prefabricated elements on site
The assembly of the structure begins! Thanks to the prefabrication of the elements and their proper preparation, the assembly work will progress quickly and efficiently. In no time, the framework of the building will be completed and ready for further development.
Installation of mechanical ventilation
BOX HAUS houses are fitted as standard with recuperation systems, that is, mechanical ventilation of the house with heat recovery. In this system, air is drawn in through the intake, flows into the air handling unit, passes through a filter and is preheated by a heat exchanger. Further through the channels the air is supplied to the rooms: living room, dining room, bedroom. In the rooms, the air is reheated to the desired temperature by the heating system. Whereas the air from the wet rooms, i.e. the kitchen and bathroom, is sucked into separate channels. It passes through a heat exchanger in the air handling unit and gives up its heat, and is then vented outside the building. This ensures that the warm air does not escape from the house.
Installation of the plumbing system
It's time to prepare the plumbing system, which is indispensable in every home. The plumbing system brings clean water to appropriately placed outlets in the building, which are included in the design of the house. In turn, the sewage network is responsible for the disposal of used water and sewage.
Installation of the electrical system
The electrical system, as the name implies, is designed to bring energy or electrical signals to the appliances arranged in the house. It is important to properly lay out the entire system, as the correct alignment of circuits and outlets ensures the proper operation of equipment.
Implementation of the facade
Solid insulation of the building and finishing the exterior walls with decorative plaster will ensure that the house not only looks good, but, above all, is protected from heat loss even on the coldest days.
Performing concrete screeds
It's time for screeding, that is, leveling and insulating the foundation. This is necessary to obtain a perfectly even surface on which the floor of your choice will be laid.
Installation of PV and radiators
Photovoltaic installation is the key component of the project that allows you to save the most on your electricity bills. During periods with less sunlight, when the installation operates at reduced efficiency, 80% of the energy is taken from the power grid for free - that means that even at night you benefit from the energy you produced and stored during the day.
Completing the finishing touches
It's time for the final touches, i.e. completing all the finishing work that remains to be done before we hand the house into your hands.
Changing the locks and handing over the keys to the finished house
Your dream home is almost ready! The final stage of construction is the handover of the keys. At this stage, a BOX HAUS employee will change the locks of the doors and hand over all the documents and protocols required for the administrative completion of the construction. He will also give instructions on the systems and equipment installed in the building. You will also receive simple instructions for the use and maintenance of your home.
Satisfaction for years to come
Construction is complete! It's time to take a well-deserved rest and settle in your new home.
